About Me
My Approach
I believe in providing a safe, supportive space for individuals to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings without judgement. In addition to a safe and supportive space, the relationship with the therapist is an essential component in working toward change and feeling better. I work collaboratively with individuals and families to identify and utilize their strengths. I also focus on building skills starting where an individual is at and utilizing evidence based approaches including CBT, DBT, social skills building, psychodynamic, play therapy and brief therapeutic interventions based on their needs.
Experience and Training
I completed my graduate training at Pace University (NYC), earning my Master's and Doctoral degrees in School-Clinical-Child-Psychology with a specialization in children ages 0-3. My training and experience include working with children, teens and adults in partial hospital and inpatient settings, public and private schools, college counseling centers, and outpatient settings. I have over twenty years of experience providing clinical services. My experience as a school psychologist provides me with valuable knowledge of school districts, the special education and 504 processes, obtaining services and interpreting testing results.
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of New Hampshire (#1096). I am a proud member of the NH Psychological Association including being an active member of their Ethics Committee and have created and presented continuing education classes for NHPA and school districts.
On A Personal Note…
I am originally from New Jersey and enjoyed the cultural diversity of that area. I utilize that experience in my work. In my down time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, baking, exercising and playing with my two cats.
